so since like 2010 or something everyone has been super obsessed with the woman of everyones dreams, male or female. Rosie Huntingdon-Whitely is an absolute goddess. She has recently launched a new lingerie line for M&S which I must admit is amazing. In an interview she did with Elle last month it sounded like the collection really meant more than just money and publicity to her, it's designed by her (mostly), and for you. They go up to something like size 20, so you don't need to have THOSE legs to be able to work it. She really is multitalented eh? Model turned actress turned designer... Apparently it was her dream from the outset to get into designing, but the c'est chic world of modelling came a-calling first, and who says no when after a couple of jobs you're shooting for Calvin Klein or whatever. And you know shes not just a prett face? Shes a family woman too. In the said elle interview she was talking about the effects that her success have on her family, and how upset it makes her. Well obvs the majority of us would feel the same, but it's just nice to know that shes kind of like me in some way???? idk maybe we're related such similarities are hard to ignore (lol im joking guys) but you know shes dating another super hot celeb dream jason statham wowza thry will make some adorbs babies huh. But their relationship unlike so many other celeb couples (cough kim cough) seems a little less superficial. HMM MAYBE A LITTLE LIKE HER LINGERIE NOT JUST MONEY. watch her space, because if what we've seen so far are an indication (which I think they are) she has a whole lot more to give us.

Miuccia has reworked 40 dresses from the Prada and Miu Miu archived collections to create wonderful and deffo 20's esque costumes for the Summer 13 release film, the Great Gatsby. Miuccia collab'd with the films head of wardrobe Catherine Martin who is also the wife of the film's director, Baz Luhrmann - on the too cute flapper dresses worn by the actresses throughout the movie.

This news is coupled with the announcement that Tiffany & Co has provided all the jewellery!

Well, this fashion paradise only adds to my absolute NEED to see the film, and also that I wished that I was a part of it, those freebies would be absolutely o die for I must say. Anyhow, the film wi be released in July 2013 not this christmas as originally thought. It's a must see, I've read (and studied) the book, so I know that it will be absolutely faaaaabulous, darling.

Well apparently him and Kate were talking quantum physics at a party the other week and she was asking some really detailed questions about the universe and stuff and Brian cox said she really knew her stuff!! Wow mossy I am totes impressed by not only your face and everything but also the whacking brain she was hiding. Also apparently she was asking questions from her daughter, Lila Grace that were pretty complex too! So joining these bags will be her cosmetics and her clothes. Ahh so much mischa in one place! Its all based around her own look, but she has said that its super important that it's not all top market stuff, with the prices ranging from £25 to £250 and everything is workable for any age group! It sounds pretty perf doesn't it? She's made quite certain that the clothes are not just for mischa Barton über fans yanno? well miuccia prada has suggested that she feels Italy is loosing its title as one of the main fashion capitals. Cray? I'm not sure, but this is what she said: "With the sale of our luxury labels to foreigners, our entire system risks falling into second league," she said. "If our brands cross the borders, the credit, glamour, fame and decision-making is in the hands of others and we are abandoned, downgraded." she feels that because so many labels are selling themselves out nowadays, the historic link between fashion and Italy is fading!!!! Not only this, but you find that designers are leaving to places where they can further their careers, as Italy isn't working anymore. Just look at Raf Simons, the Belgian designer that recently left Jil Sanders to work at Dior! (although the founder of JS was German, they've been based in italia since 1985 and show at Milan fash week) but Miu Miu is one to talk! She went and showed her Miu Miu collection in Paris, not Italy as she wanted to showcase her collection somewhere glamorous, and states that Italy's government doesn't appreciate fashion, and thinks it frivolous. god this made me laugh quite a lot. Well Richard Branson's people and lawyers have contacted this cute Eco friendly denim company called 'I am not a virgin' because they think that a customer would be confused with the name virgin and I am not a virgin. Seriously!?!!!? I don't think anyone could be that dumb, specifically because any virgin thing is like vigib fitness or something.. Anyways virgin suggested a few other names for te company : I am not chaste and also I am not pure. Soooo miss Simone Rocha has been around for a year or so, and made her first proper debut at LFW this year with her AW12 collection. This is the first one under her name since the 6 piece capsule collection she did with topshop a while back. And can I just say. It was a beeeaaauts collection. Perfect balance between masculinity (tailored and sharp) with really great touches like I dunno lace or a pretty collar to make it beauts and feminine. Well it's what is to be expected when your best-in-the-biz daddy presented his 25th super collection the same lfw. I mean who can grow up around all that and not be great when they're older?? Have any of you lovely people seen the Henry Holland collab with superga???? Wow. I don't even know if I've written about this yet so apologies if I have but can I just say, what a beautiful fucking shoe. They are like all flatformy and totes beauts and they have them in loads of different styles reaaaally want the white sneaker one with the purdy rainbow stripes. Ooh and these black ones with spots on the flatform bit!!!!! actually have to say that they would look sooooooso perf with what chung-a-lung was wearing the other day? A denim playsuit kinda ting. Hm well I'm not really an urban outfitters kinda gal, but recently I spotted a tie dye playsuit there that looked reeeeal cute. It's something like £40 but could become a real look over the summer because you can wear it with so much.. Beach wear with tanned pins or with tights and leather. OH HOW FUCKIN VERSATILE. well I've got everything up and running on my phone now, literally one whole page just fashwan apps. Dedication right?? HAPPS BDAY TO ME!!! yay. happy. my dad got me an iPhone so i feel very lucky indeed. but not only is it MY birthday, but SIENNA MILLERS DAUGHTERS. well. ok it wasn't today but it was like on sunday which is near enough; and the likkle baaaaybeee's name was announced today, and yes, it was another odd one. can they not just name their children normally? i mean a simple name would obviously suffice, but i suppose that if the tots are destined for stardom like their rents then they need to stand out a lil bit. but anyways, the baby's name is Marlowe Ottoline Layng Sturridge. Hm. Another interesting choice. but anyhow, congrats Sienna.

no idea why i called this post that i just thought it sounded kinda cooool. eheh. my boooonnneez are aching because i ran further than eva today. not that i ever run anywhere, but still. a lil exercise is enough to send me into hell so its a big step just even going ok. and well that got me thinking... the next social at my school is olympics, and even though I'm not your average party kinda gal (my neighbours guinea pig has a more active social life than me) i think this is a night where i could look ok. seeing as sportswear has been a micro trend that got a bit bigger than micro, i do have some sport chic stuff i could use. i mean, flatform trainers... short shorts... bomber jacket... yanno the kind. just add a couple of sweat bands and boom, you've got an outfit. although if i want to blend in a lil bit i'll need to nip and tuck a few bits of the outfit to make sure enough cleavage (do i even HAVE one of those?) is on show etc etc lookin slutty 2k12 and feelin gross whilst doing so but its all good. well, now I've got my outfit planned.. its all about plucking up the courage to even go to the damn event now. laaaters y'all. xo

wow. they are back. SO HAPPY. being the true 90's child i am, the spice girls were a maaaaasive part of ma life as a lil'un and thanks to mon papa's job, i was lucky enough to meet them. unfortunately for the heartbroken little 5 year old i was, they announced they were breaking up at that concert. wow. crushing let me tell you. BUT NOW THEY ARE BACK AND I CAN LOVE THEM ALL OVER AGAIN BUT WITH A WHOLE NEW SENSE OF APPRECIATION FOR VB BECAUSE SHE IS AMAZING AND FASHIONABLY COVETABLE. fangirl. yes. spice girls the musical is a thing very much on the horizon for us, and guess who will be (hopefully and probably) designing their costumes? YES- none other than VB herself. god. so that means that there will be bangin' and let me repeat BANGIN tunes but also the finest clothing. and if god is real, as far as possible from the pvc jumpsuits of the good ol days.

sooo the genius and national treasure that is Sarah Burton has managed (somehow) to channel McQueens talent into this years A/W12 collections. The whole show had this futuristic and ethereal vibe to it.. the models with their harsh, scraped back bobs looked stunning and harsh- contrasting compleeeeetly with the FLUFFFFFY + FEAATHERYY a-line tiered dresses that first bounced down the catwalk.  This theme of towering a-lines was something that definitely continued through the show, through clinched in waists on the jackets or through peplums (ooh very chanel) over full skirts - or even on some of the straighter pieces with the toooottttes qt fluffy lamb booties. aahhaknjdfnb i want to cuddle them. So Burton with this show has managed to keep the drama and beauty of the old McQueen shows but has lost the darkness and depression that came before. Cant decide whether thats a good thing or not.. but really without the man himself, i can't help but feel that its lost something special, despite Burtons obvious talent... :( AAAAND REMEMBER PEEPS- FOLLOW FOLLOW FOLLOW @esmeejay on twitter. xox

GUESS WHO'S BAAACK?? soz it's been so long but literally my life has been so hectic. for the first month in about 2 years I haven't bought vogue. so i am feeling stressed and deprived. however, in my absence i have had the time (somehow) to make a twitter.. so, @esmeejay. in the loverlee world of the fashwan, a lot has indeed happened. summer has once again showed its tanned and scarcely clad self, and we have all welcomed it with open arms... some a little too much, for i have seen more than one-too-many buttock in the past week. so, la topshop has got a new bridal wear collection out... not really my dream clothes n stuff but whatevs. some die hard fans may just go as far as walking down the aisle in a polyester gown, but thats cool. im holding out for chanel personally. LUST!!!!! for such an aaaaancient label (like 161 years buddy) it makes me sad that it may be closing its doors forever... however, other heritage brands across the pond and over a few more ponds and then an ocean are doing super duper faaaabulously. so no worries there, if i keep saving, i will still be able to afford THAT chanel jacket when i am approximately 732 years of age. so, it appears to have reached the time of the year where the sun has finally dazzled us brits with warmth and happiness. unusually though, it was in march. hey-ho, thats climate change for you. the parks in london were lined with sunbathing britons in bikinis, even though it was only 20 degrees, we all took the opportunity to unravel out cashmere scarves, weeping with joy, push away the lentil soup, and beckon in many-a-ice cream and frappuccino. oh, and also SUMMER CLOTHES. thats sandals, dresses, and those totes adorbs marni for h&m shorts that i have seen  just about covering the thighs of the tawny limbs of many fashion girls. hell to the yeah.

Last day at lfw ss 12... SOB.

Sooo today was the last day at LFW, and the FROW at the Burberry show was super amaze. The Chung meister, Sam-Cam and Poppy Delevigne all took their seats, and popps-del was whooping and cheering as lil' sis Cara strutted down the Burberry runway. Sooo in love with the collection, sooo in love with p + c delevigne.

On dat 60's hype

The swinging 60s are back, apparently. Following a trend of beehives alike, from Sander to Fendi,they were all at it. Channel it with super-duper polished clothes, skirt suits, car coats and more, all in that wonderful pastel hue. If I had the money, I would totes buy the Marni crepe dress. Unfortunately, I'm not quite there yet. Oh well,there's always Santa.

The one and only Karl Lagerfeld has been quoted, when asking his opinion on Lana Del Rey (my future wife) saying: 'I prefer Adele and Florence Welch. But as a modern singer she is not bad. The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice.' Ouch. This may have been a slap round the face to many, but not to Adele, she takes it in her stride, and is entirely comfortable being her. She is beautiful and beautifully talented, so nothing really to worry about. Personally, i dont think that this is giving the right message to so many young body conscious girls who need curvier and more realistic looking role models. Hm, moment of deep thought. Ciao.

Just flicking through the asos catalogue which finds its way to my house every season due to a SINGLE PURCHASE.and what do I come across, high tops. Sure, love a bit of basketball shoeage, but no. No, these were eeeeeven higher. They had a whopping great platform bit underneath. Hm, slightly out of my comfort zone. Sure, brothel creepers were awesome, and totes a fave, but THESE. Nah, not so sure I shall be trending that particular item this season. But I do wonder if it will catch on...?

So not only is she like THE most fashionable woman everrrrr, she has had a mulberry bag named after her and now, she has gone and landed a job as the creative director of the new superega campaign. Jheeze, well jell. Superego have gone form being a fairly small old mens shoe company to one of the new hipster faves. The shoes themselves are totally versatile, team with skinnies and an oversized shirt or woolly knit to create a casual chic look, or with something floral to be the height of SS12 amaze. Personally, the brown is calling my name.
